Going unemployed soon.... HOW

My company offered me : 1. A completely different job position which I am not familiar with. 2.I resign and they compensate September salary 3. Take Unpaid leave until they need ny manpower. SHOULD I JUST RESIGN? Will it be counted as constructie dismissal? I wanted to apply EIS that can at least lat me few months of living while looking for jobs.

I would suggest you to temporarily take the first option as it can buy you some time to look for job elsewhere. Just take the job, do whatever you can and try to find another job in the meantime

The company is actually quite good by trying their best to not retrench you but you didn't take the opportunity. In time like these, you shouldn't be so picky.

It's very hard to get a job nowadays. You should be greatful that the company still offer you a job position. They are actually helping you.
