Would like to ask the scan QR code is that compulsory for details shop or every office / manufacturing etc? Where to get this guideline to show just for retail and not for office?

No, just a way to record your customer details. If you prefer the old way, record with paper also can, just maintain the books record at least 3 month to assist KKM if they request for the document.
