When faced with a choice between working with good colleagues but having a difficult boss, or enjoying better benefits but being in a suppressed work environment, it can be a challenging decision. It seems like you were initially satisfied with your previous job's content and had good relationships with your colleagues, but the downside was your harsh boss who gave you excessive workload. Consequently, you decided to resign and found a new job with improved benefits. However, the atmosphere among your new coworkers is suffocating and serious. You might be feeling nostalgic for your old company, perhaps due to the sudden shift from being busy to having more free time, as well as the monotonous nature of your new job and the lack of growth opportunities. It is important to consider the long-term implications of your decision. Constantly switching jobs can have a negative impact on your resume, and there is always a possibility of ending up in a worse situation. Firstly, try to assess whether the current environment is truly unbearable or if it is simply a matter of adjusting to the change. Consider seeking ways to improve the work atmosphere in your new company. Building stronger relationships with your colleagues may help alleviate the seriousness. Additionally, communicating your concerns to your superiors or HR department may lead to changes that make the environment more enjoyable for everyone. However, if you find that the suppressed work environment persists and there is no room for growth, it may be worth exploring other job opportunities while still maintaining your current position. Keep an eye out for companies that align with your preferences – those that offer a supportive work environment and growth prospects. It is common to have mixed feelings during a transitional period, but remember to weigh the overall benefits and drawbacks before making any hasty decisions. Ultimately, job satisfaction and personal growth are essential for long-term career success, so it is crucial to find a balance between a harmonious work environment and favorable benefits.
