is that payslip is important? As my previous company didn’t give me pay slip since i was worked with them until i resigned, they told the payslip is not necessary as nobody in company was requested.

Hi, payslip is important and it is strictly required to be provided by employer under Employment Act 1955. Additionally, payslip important when you want to source for new job opportunities, as the new company may request for your payslip to propose salary package, based on your basic, allowances and bonus.
