As an HR expert, I recommend documenting all communication received from the former employer, including the accusations made against you. It's important to gather evidence that can support your innocence in the situation described. You should also consider seeking legal advice to understand your rights and options in this matter. Additionally, it may be helpful to reach out to your former employer through a formal letter or email to address the false accusations and request to cease any further harassment. Remember to keep a record of all correspondence for future reference. In general, once you have resigned from a company, there should be no basis for them to take legal action against you without proper evidence of wrongdoing. If you continue to face harassment or threats from the former employer, you may consider escalating the issue to relevant authorities or seeking professional help. It's important to prioritize your personal well-being and seek support when facing such situations.
