Don't get me wrong, but it is nice to be remembered and appreciated. I just hope that my workplace will have more people like my new colleague. "Credit is where credit is due" is so important that can make an employee/colleague feel appreciated and will work better because of that encouragement. My first and current work place is so toxic that I got so paranoid when someone praised my work. I had my guard up all the time. It will be a hard time for me to make this anxiety go away.
