为什么面试官在面试的时候一直不要透露薪水？

我昨天出席了一场面试面试官的人看起来很nice工作听起来也没什么大问题但是问到薪水的时候，只有他单方面问我expected salary是多少然后我问薪水到底多少，他却说这很敏感，要等到时offer letter发过来才会让我知道到时候我再决定看要不要accept offer我觉得好像很奇怪？这个是不是一个red flag?
